Sally, has Heat Flushing up from her Chest, up her throat,to her Cheeks,that become Bright Red. She feels like an uncomfortable Furnace for a minute or so and then it fades out. It happens a few times a day, especially in the afternoon. Sally sleeps Well at night. No sweating involved.

Jane is OK during the Day, but wakes up every few hours throughout the night…
Boiling Hot and Sweating Profusely…Throws the covers off…and may even experience palpitations, feeling Wired and Jittery. Thirsty,too.

Night Sweats and Chinese Herbs

Night Sweats are a common Menopause Symptom. Many Menopausal women experience Sweating with their Hot Flashes throughout the day. When it happens at night, though, it’s a problem in itself. It can mean ruined sleep. Women typically wake up at 2-3 in the morning, soaked and burning. What a Drag!

Ayurveda Approach to Indigestion and Concept of Agni

The word “Indigestion” is commonly used to describe the discomfort in one’s belly mostly caused after food consumption. Fullness, bloating, nausea, heart burn are other symptoms of Indigestion.

Before discussing Indigestion , understanding the process of digestion is very essential. The Ayurveda approach of explaining digestion is very simple and effective. The food we eat is digested by Agni or body fire which is present in our body. It is very much similar to the way we cook the food. The Agni or body fire helps to digest the food which is consumed, much like the fire of a stove cooks the food kept on it. The Agni is mainly situated in Jatara or in upper part of digestive system and is called as Jataragni.

Different Hormonal Therapies For Menopause

Hormone therapies come in many forms as well as dosages depending on the woman. Some will be prescribed a pill form of estrogen which is combined with a synthetic form of progesterone known as Progestin.
